The photo scan attachment displays (2) stamps of the same year and perforation! The "watermarks" differ>That's my question? Do the watermarks differ? see (2) photos (front and back):
The stamp on the right looks like it is SG 31x with variety "watermark reversed." They are a common feature with these Chalon heads, but it's a nice find and definitely a keeper!
Please kindly help. Cannot find any examples of Bahamas Watermarks. Google brought me here...))
As much as I understand, the first stamp is 1862 6d perf 13 ...Am I right? Plus - what kind of watermark is it? Can this kind of gum be named "original"? What do you think about the stamp condition overall?
1863 1p Victoria perf 14... watermark reversed CC with a crown (wtmk is seen starting at the right lower corner). Do you see the watermark? (it is extremely hard to make a right picture or scan; the watermark is seen by uncovered eye, but scans or pictures just do not reflect that)
Please kindly help identifying this one. What kind of watermark is it? Additionally, what do you think about the hole on this stamp? Does it make the stamp totally worthless?
Thank you for reading. I will appreciate any kind of comments or advises.
