Hi I was wondering I bought this today and do you think it hurts the value as a cover if it was cut off a package or envelope.
Here are some pics back and front. Thanks in advance...

Hi Kachidousa, and welcome to the forum. That is a beautiful piece and should be a great addition to your collection!

fronts are generally worth a fraction of what a complete cover would be worth, but they can still be collectible and I do have some that I include in collections, and even exhibits, where no alternative is available. Pretty item and a shame it's not a full cover.

p.s. always nice to see another Ohioan on the board (based on your other posting).

Paperhistory is correct in that this kind of thing is basically just a large sized clipping. There is almost no postal history value as collectors of postal history want the entire cover including whatever markings are on the back side of the cover, or that are not there but the proof of their absence is the presence of the back of the cover. And this one has lost some of the value of just the used stamps in that someone seems to have clipped it too close along the top edges of the stamps.
