Have you got a scan of the other side, if there's any information there? In which country was the card printed?
She may have been a provincial theatre or cabaret actress. |

Well, I'm in Rheims, digesting a dozen escargots, a brochette of beef, a glass of Hermitage and a digestif of eau de vie framboise.
I don't recognise the lady - untitled ladies on cards are known as "beauties" in the world of British collecting. They become "actresses" when a name is included. |

I envy you for the experience... Thanks for sharing with us. The lady looks familiar. I like old movies but cannot pinpoint it. Enjoy fine brandy over there. |

The picture may be older - these pictures often seem to appear on the cards of numerous publishers.
Fine brandy would be wasted on me. This is more akin to sljiva, which is fine with me! |

I love old photos and I collect certain topics. I do not collect postcards, but I started collecting old covers. If you were to come to Serbia, your menu would not be as sofisticated as it is in Reims. It would be less healthy, more abundant and sljiva, kajsija, dunja and loza would flow...

That may just be a family photo and not a famous actress. A relative has an old photo of my grandfather with a similar postcard back. |

Everything is possible. The Card was made in Italy and it was sent from Jugoslavija. |
