Wert,was this an April Fools joke on the part of the engraver? That would run anyone nuts - like which dor is the correct one? You did not say a thing about the two dots (?) next to the eye.
Robert, here in the States I do not know of a website that keeps track of guide dots or LOM dots if you will. Is there such a site in Canada? Some of the more modern guide dots are the subject of some specialized articles that I have but they are far apart!
