If someone can read Persian I need some help to ID Persian overprint script from a think a 1902 stamp. Are these worth anything or a dime a dozen? Thanks...
I don't speak Persian, but that's OK, as this is Turkish. I don't speak that either, but the overprint means "printed matter". Issued 1893. No financial value.
The symbol in the very center of the stamp is a tughra (not sure of spelling and no time to check Scott catalogue). It was a symbol of the Ottoman sultan.
