I have a set of booklet panes from the 1969 Australian Prime Ministers booklet SG446a-449a. Under UV light, one of them (G.H.Reid) has a definite yellow cast to it while the others retain the green tint of the paper. ASCS lists these stamps as normally printed on helecon paper as standard but with some also printed on non-helecon paper (at a 50x premium to the standard stamp). Would this yellow cast be due to non-helecom paper? - or perhaps the other way around?
Rod222, that was an interesting link. One thing I know for sure now, both Rod222 and Rohumpy went to the jewelers, but neither has made it back yet! :-) Of course I am just kidding, but how did things end?
Hahaha. :) Country Town, owner was away on holidays, I bought some batteries, and have not returned. This may encourage me to return for silver wire.... Thanks Peter.
