"Marianne de Dulac" and "Marianne de Gandon" (my personal favourite) together on a souvenir sheet from 2015,issued to commemorate French Liberation.

I just finished collection-mounting my French Sperati material (his reproductions). Interesting 1 franc shades that match genuine well enough that they may be useful.

Rod222 - I have described Sperati's technique in a 16 page presentation here (see page 4):

The research regarding the types was originally done by Robson Lowe when he authored the BPA book on Sperati although it was unattributed. I bought the Dr. Carl Walske collection last year and have been working on it.

All the trial exposures came from the Sperati archive which was sold by Yvonne Pochard de Sperati after her father's death.
