Quote: trying to stay positive over here with a full (loud) house as I work from Hom Ha! I am completely the opposite, I rarely speak to another human being more than twice a week. I cannot even work with the TV on. I do experience internal chatter though. Your 1946 15f postage stamp has a triangle auxilliary mark, indicating a postage due service, I believe. |

Added today a 13 x 13 1/4 perf C61 (Yvert PA62a) with some interesting selvedge to finish this page in my French airmail album. I've done this one in AlbumEasy, setting it up so I can better track the variations between Scott and Yvert so I can clarify what is needed and what different dealers might be offering. The perforation variations with these two types were an interesting little exercise; more than one dealer checked their [Scott] C61 and C60 for me and low they were C61a and C60a.... I also like a bit of description of the subjects. Anyway, on to other things now. |

Had some fun sorting a few of the various types of the 1929-31 provincial series which came to me on a Steiner page in a partial album I'd obtained, but which, however, were misidentified as to type. Got them straight now on my own page. |

Thanks, Rod. Yes, the regular collection is hinged. I am working through my own boyhood accumulation, an accumulation I bought, amd a partial album, all of which are used or mint hinged, with few exceptions. So I thought that I would do hinged, except for the airmails. I suspect iff I fill in some higher value gaps I would go with mounts. - Jonathan. |
