Bit of an ebay newbie here.

I bought a minisheet "buy it now" for $1.85
I had 3 other items awaiting auct in 3 days from the same vendor.
So I didn't pay the "buy it now" straight away. ( combined postage scenario)

I bought a DVD for $2.20 and when I paid, ebay combined the two outstanding accounts in 1 payment.
I don't recall seeing anything advising me of this when I hit the "pay" button.

How do you guys / gals deal with that occurence?
Thanks.

You probably press the paid button to fast and don't look well, it supposed to show the 2 items and you have an option to pay only 1 item

Hi, Rod. I would use one of two options: (1) wait to "buy it now" until the auctions closed in a few days; or (2) if I was afraid the "buy-it-now" item might be gone if I didn't snap it up immediately, I would send a message to the seller and ask him/her to hold off on shipping the item until the auctions closed. Either way, I treat "buy it now" as if it means what it says and pay immediately. Actually, I'm not sure if the item is unavailable to other buyers until payment is made.

Yes, thanks area66
I am not sure now I paid, I cancelled immediately, but thought the payment went through.
I cannot see it as yet, no email confirmation from ebay.

I opened up the payment option again, but dashed if I could see the payment for 1 item option.

May be a "seniors moment"................ I'll have another bo-peep.

G'day Rusty,
no, that's exactly what I did.......

Before the "buy it now" I emailed the vendor..... he told me to "buy it now" but do not pay
await the result of my other three bids in 3 days, then I email him "ready to pay" and he sends the invoice.

Buying the DVD threw the sidchrome into the works.

I need to investigate how I pay for individual items.
Cheers

Sorry, Rod. I misunderstood your question. I'm glad only a few dollars were involved.
