Does this cover have an interest because of the change of address on it? I paid $2.00 for it

First days that have encountered various issues in the mailstream (sometimes called "fractured" FDCs) are definitely of interest to specialists (usually for specific stamp issues or exhibitors). One exhibitor has a major exhibit entirely devoted to the subject. But most FDC collectors seem to avoid them.

Since I'm not a specialist in this kind of thing I think I'll just keep it and let my heirs worry about it.

In modern era FDCs like this one, the ones that seem to have the greatest value are the ones that are unaddressed and in pristine condition. The going price for something like this cover in such condition would be in the range of 25 cents.
