USPS Rate Increase Effective 28 August 2016

The US Postal Service has quietly ushered in a postage rate increase. The first class parcel postage rate for less than 3 ounces has increased from $2.45 to $2.62. No other rates or fees were changed. However, for ebay sellers who want Top Rated Seller status by using tracked shipment via USPS and use First Class Parcel service to achieve that, this is an increase of $0.17 on every sale that will have to be covered.

No surprises here. Just stop offering low priced items or forget being a Top Rated seller. The 20% discount doesn't go as far in the Stamps category as it does in other categories where final value fees are much higher.
