What you need to find is "Collect British Postal Stationery - A Simplified Listing of British Postal Stationery 1840 to 2007" ... by Colin Baker and Alan Huggins.
BUT, as Ringo mentioned, it is not readily available as it is out of print. Used copies usually go for around the eighty UK pounds mark if you can find one.
An alternative is a very old Stanley Gibbons GB catalog... by old I mean early 20th century... as SG did list most postal stationery then. The info would still be relevant... and strangely, the prices of cut square Penny pinks would be about right today also. A 1905 catalog price for a 4 margin Penny Black stamp was 6d (£0.025 in modern money) while a scarce die Penny Pink used cut square was cataloged at 5/- (£0.25 in modern money). Now a Penny Black is £200+ and a Penny Pink cut square is still worth £0.25 (5/- in old money)
