My family has had a death over the weekend so I'll probably be a bit slow in further information, responses, etc. but prior to this occurring I did some research on M. Drury and WOW the man has had a rather roller-coaster of a ride through life - from a detective to KGV stamp certifier(?), nothing but praise for the man. I think everyone should have a read of http://www.news.com.au/entertainmen...8ea8c6025cc8 (if they read nothing else). The PO box for him is no longer valid and it appears the only way to get to him is through a third party or attending auctions etc that he may be attending. I understand he is a very approachable person.

I happen to have a copy of Blue Murder but have never watched so I will obviously be screening at the next opportunity.

I have been to the National Library and got my card but as per above I haven't the time to do any research at the moment. If someone does have some question etc in relation to information I can glean from various books at the library please ask and I will try to accommodate (not everyone has the luxury of having the National Library in their city).

I would love to be able to get in touch with Michael Drury, especially as since your last post Rod I have had a closer look at my stamps and even though I'm not sure of the difference between aniline and eosin (I thought they were all just classified aniline - shows how much I know) probably half of mine fall into these categories - will have to get the uv out. Even the 'secret mark' shows as one or the other....

Condolences, Peter.
No rush here. Take your time.
I look forward to having a read...........

PS: I am a big fan of Richard Roxborough (RAKE) I am surprised I had not come across this film prior...
