Just a couple more questions, what time period would this be from? And is it worth anything?

A Polish fund-raising label. FOM - Fundusz Obrony Morskiej - Maritime Defence Fund. The fund was started in Jan. 1933 to raise money to expand the Polish Navy.

The label is advertised for sale for about $5.00 on Polish stamp sites

Some of the money raised went towards the building of the Polish submarine "Orzel" meaning Eagle in Polish. In the first days of WWII she made her way to Scotland after which she was made part of the Royal Navy's 2nd Submarine Flotilla. She disappeared on or around 8 June 1940 & her wreck has never been found.

The Polish Exile Government in Great Britain issued two stamps illustrating the submarine, the first in 1940, the second, overprinted in 1844 to commemorate the battle of Monte Cassino in Italy.

She was also illustrated on a stamp in 1970 as part of a Polish Navy set

Question(s) well-asked and well-answered.
What the SCF often sees and is appreciated by more than just those directly involved in the exchange.
