This stamp (331953507794) is being auctioned in about 3 hours as I type this (so it's probably sold by the time you see this). Would you say this is a "pulled perf" example (lower right hand side)? Seller is a dealer I regard as being very reputable. He doesn't cite any faults, but it seems pretty short to me. Is there a standard for what constitutes a pulled perf, and what's acceptable? Is there a difference between a short and pulled perf?

A pulled perf is typically defined as "a completely missing perf, sometimes to the point of having been torn below the perforations".

Agree with Don, I would have described this as a "short perf."

I think we are splitting "perfs" - this is an imperfect stamp imho - however, the pricing probably reflects the perf flaw and the centering and it would still be a good addition to most collections. I know nothing about U.S. stamps; but, with classic Canadian stamps, perfect copies command premium pricing and I would expect to see the same discount on a poorly centered high value Jubilee with a minor perf flaw. I would question the dealer's description - the stamp is there to see, so he/she isn't hiding anything; but to say there are no faults seems to be stretching things a little.

This would be described as "having a few short perfs". None of these are "pulled". And roughly 20% seems about right given the centering plus the perf issues.
