Can anyone put me in touch with someone who would (happy to pay for it) be able to identify a Burma stamp?

I have not yet mastered the scan function on my new printer. It looks like Scott Henzada Type I but I am wondering if it might not be type 2 because it is attached to a envelope with a "return" address, pre printed, "JAPANESE SPECIAL SERVICE POST BURMA" The envelope is addressed, also pre printed, to; "THANAN PHAUNG Admission Comander No. 6834518 Clark Office of S.D.O.M. Jap Mily Camp, Rangoon - Burma" Stamp is 1 1/2As in lt. green. |

WOW - Thanks. Mine is the first envelope in the first row, the only difference is a black cancel. I'm sure I have a forgery, however, the forgery would be a copy of something that was real (like the catalog listings). So, how do I tell a forgery from the original? |

rod222, thank you. Had no idea they even existed and the article was fantastic. Based on article that GeoffHa sent me, I'm thinking I have some kind of forgery. |

Yes, Terry a fabulous blog, for the new collector of Burma. I have seen frames in Perth, of the Peacock Overprints, It was way over my head, a discipline for the very studious and wealthy, I should think.
