The image after draft got watermark lines like this

[/URL]

Hope this help you more. Im very sure my eyes dont deceive it have the C reversed whereby back of C cut in half. When I got chance I capture clearer image. When see onto it you will see the back line of C prolong upright up to perforation. The measurement of probable back-line is near to three perforation if measured from the stamp.

Do you think it is possible the way line prolong is straight half the way of letter o? After some deep thought, I conclude on my own almost impossible it could be C normal with the shape that I prescribed.

Here another image under bright light. It look quite promising right?

I see many time and made conclusion that was impossible the way C get its shape to be a normal C. It is abnormal or reversed C

If you crop your pic to just the stamp it'll be easier to see if reversed or not.

Mfie,

Welcome aboard.

The relevant part of the watermark is incomplete and makes it nigh on impossible to confirm. The reversed 'C' is known in the KGV heads, but I hsve not seen it in postage dues.

Geoff Kellow surmised that the error would have been repaired quickly. A 2d KGV dated 1935 is known. The 4d due was not issued until 1938 and continued in use until 1954.

You would need a more centrally located example to have any certainty.

I would not be confident that this is an example of the revered 'C'.
