In a recent acquisition I found these two 3c Small Queens, each with 2 guide dots in the lower left corner. Both stamps are perf 12.1 x 12.1 which would indicate Montreal printings of the mid-1870's.

I am thinking the left stamp is No. 37, orange-red, the right 37c, dull red.

BeeSee...I looked through my 100 or so small queens and came up with nothing like you have..just one with a small dot...Have not checked out the ones on my covers yet..If I find anything, I will let you know.
