Have the Gods smiled on me today?
I found this one in an auction lot I bought some time ago.

Would this be a Scott#3 Turkey in Asia? CV$150
Would appreciate opinions on validity of the opt, if so.
Thanks.

The gods have, in fact, smiled on you! Very very nice - although looks unused to me. From what I can see, overprint looks good, but would require a cert to be sure

Thanks Michael,
I am having a smile with my coffee.

Definitely used, or CTO I can see the ink remnants. (Lower left quadrant)
Makes no never mind though, nice to welcome the fellow home.

You know, it's lying on my desk right now, with a few others, and the opt is barely recognisable, no wonder it slipped through from the past dealer.

Sc#297 1915

Colour changeling? Over Inked? Shade? Damaged by hot water?
Any suggestions?
