I use this one.

If you use Scott, you realize that a perf 13 can be anywhere from 12 3/4 to 13 1/4 and they make mistakes too. For these measurements, you need to be sure the stamp is parallel with the line. Even a slight angle can affect results. I have to use a lighted magnifier to check.

I did check on Aussie ebay, none.
The blocks of six were at reserve of $23.
So we shall say $6-$10 for the large sheet, optimal.

Regarding the Scott perforation gauge the Gibbons Instanta is almost the same and may be more widely available in Australia. Not expensive on ebay here

Forgeries, are Perf 11˝, or note shape of "1", at the bottom of the "1"
the arabesque curve is thick like a finger, if sharp, genuine.
