FT,
It's a tough ask, I am sorting the Wrangel Issues right now, best taken slowly and methodically.

Received Stamps from Turky...Thanks Michael.
Look forward to inspecting and cataloguing them over the next few days.

Bi- coloured Postmark, date in red (unable to read however)
The stamps do not look like they are die cut, yet syncopated.

Maybe Bandirma, as this would be a translation of the Turkish.

Just won a full stock page of OX HEADS [bull heads/cow heads ] on ebay to add to the lot I purchased at auction . I am still not sure how to id the fakes from the real ones, got a few that clearly don't hold up to the others but will continue with this project till I know .
Next stop is to order books from the APS LIBRARY,hoping someone wrote about these in the past but also want to know if their are new forgeries out there ,too many years have gone by since a lot of the research was done .

I have all the latest monographs from Dr. Andreas Birken (2018)

So if you have a query, post it here, and I'll see if he has tackled it.

Glad to see package arrived Rod! Looks like it went through a war?! Glad the higher value stamp wasn't ripped in half!

So if my math is correct, it was 21 days? Not bad as far as I'm concerned, given it travelled from Istanbul to Australia. Given its treatment on the journey, very relieved to see that no harm has apparently come to the stamps...

For those interested in such things, the postmark is rotated 90 degrees to the right. The writing on the right - which should be at the top - says 'PTT Zekeriyakoy' - which is the one post office somewhat near me. The bottom says 'Sariyer, Istanbul' - Sariyer is the district/municipality. The line above that says 'Sube 30' which is just 'Branch 30.' Can't make out the red in the middle, but I'll assume it is the date...

And yes, the stamps are syncopated...

Michael,
23 days, you posted 12th June late,
The package was just as you posted, no damage.
I have every confidence in the mail, only lost 1 cover in 12 odd years , touch wood.
Given I live in the bush, the mail from the east coast can take 4-5 days, ( I only get post twice a week) so, yes, excellent service.
I get most of my stuff via mail, letters, kitchen appliances, car parts, cycling clothes from China, plant seeds, online shopping is alive and well.
Thanks for the Pmk advice.
Again, if I can reciprocate with any stamps, just holler.......
