Hi Geoff wow that takes me back to my early collecting days, I collected silks when ebay started and used to buy coins from the states and bank notes back then, those were the days when post was cheap!
Well with W&W I am not to fussed if it goes to someone else but I do have to say they cold be more professional and make better descriptions at the very least and with more pictures and considering I have asked specific questions about the lot and the reply is just as vague does not promote interest with it but we shall see.

I've got several albums of silks - probably the most demanding cards I've ever sorted out! All those flags ...

There was something about the silks that caught my eye. It was my friend who had part albums and of course to get ones you needed you had to buy other sets and that what got me on Ebaym I have gone through Denby ware which is still being used today. To metalware coins and then stamps. This however will be my last collection, its the Fleetwood FDC's that have really been a real pain to finish as trying to get information on them just did not come.
I sent numerous emails and joined 2 forums with nothing turning up. Its going to be just one of those things ebay is good for.
As you can tell I have emailed the ATA with no response and that is with the intention of joining........ You just have to laugh. It says on there site ask a question and get a prompt reply? Was is prompt, a week!

You get an invoice on Thursday or Friday if you win. These modern royalty lots usually go pretty cheaply, so it's worth persisting.

Tigger, the folks at the ATA are volunteers. They really are not sitting there waiting on someone's Email!
Please have a little bit of patience - they will get to it!

Peter

Hi Peter, I am being kindly and assuming my emails are not getting through, maybe going in their spam as its a UK email.
I may make a posting in here to see if someone has had a Topical list from them because before I join them I want to know
how everything works and exactly what the things mean within a list. IN fact I will try the folks here instead of waiting,
glad you did that Peter because I was just going to walk away from it. If People want to know why stamp shops are closing though
you have your answer right here.
