I have a lot stamp mount strips and wondering if there is a good way to organize them. One challenge is the range of sizes (20mm to over 200).

I was thinking some file folder like hanging file method such as taking manila and cut them down at least for the smaller sizes (less 100mm).

Anyone have any ideas?

I wrote globally to dealers for unwanted stock,
and found most of my Mount stock at 30%-50% of retail.

PS: I only requested, and use "open top" black mounts, but now prefer "clear" mounts...too late to change.

The Plastic chest of drawers $3 at second hand shop.

Simple but effective. Sits right next to my desk.

But it seems as many as I have the size I need I don't have, I still need more!

Hi angore

A number of years ago I purchased a few sets of stackable drawers. The drawers were designed to store 8-1/2 x 11 paper. I do not remember which manufacturer made the drawers.

I purchased some at an art supply store and some at an office supply.
Check them out. Maybe a crafts store also. What I found in the "Big
Box" retailers (Wal-Mart, Costco, etc..) were not adequate.

The stackable drawer idea is also something I considered. I current have the shorter strips in a shoe box organized in size order but when I get to around 60 this no longer works but again stacked in height order. I use Prinz/Scott and find the plastic cases more a nuisance for easy opening/closing. The last Showgards I got were not packaged to be opened/sealed.

Maybe I will use graduated height folders.

I remembered the name of the draw manufacturer: Eldon Office Products

Some good tips here to assist me in revising how I store mounts (the old rubber band around a bunch of strip packages doesn't work well). Thanks all.
