Designed, printed, and added to albums 17 new pages for U.S. regular issues (sheet, booklet, and coil) 1970 to 1974. Next on the agenda are pages for the Americana issue of the mid-1970s. |

Using Barefoot's "British Commonwealth Revenues" sorted and identified small collection of India revenues. Wonderful resource. Created pages (Steiner).

Found a Bynof-Smith Forged Postage Stamps of the British Empire down under. I won't get it for weeks, but I'm happy to have it. So to speak.
I wasn't rigorous in my search, so I'm sure I've missed many over time, but now it's off my list. Hopefully. |

Thanks to kind assistance from SCF member Tom/KGVI was able to identify and mount small collection of British Mandate Palestine stamps.
Identifying the various EEF issues went fairly smoothly. (See Henry Gitner's "Palestine Overprints Identifier").
Then on to the 1927 pictorial issues (e.g., Rachel's Tomb). Many shade varieties and four paper types. So it's identify a couple of stamps, take a break, repeat.
Another helpful resource: "The ABC's of Collecting British Mandate Palestine Stamps", Dr. A Friedberg (April 1966). Available online.

Mounted the Spanish stamps I sorted the other day. Note to self - when the dealer said the stamp was MNH, he forgot to mention there was no gum either.
Mounted the Czechoslovakia newspaper stamps that were waiting patiently in my stockbook.
Sorted through an envelope of Africa stamps to add to my Scott International albums and pull duplicates. |

Sorted through Asia stamps today to see what I can add to the Scott International. Discovered my edition doesn't have People's Republic of China... wondering when Scott added them to the International Album? |

Found and bought 2 "Persian" definitives missing from my collection. Inexpensive yet took a long time to find both, Still need just a few from the Scott 1140's, plus Scott 975. |

Zumstein Switzerland Specialized Vol. 2 arrived...Vol. 2 is basically back-of-the-book, but includes hotel posts, railway stamps, telegraphs and much more. I could easily spend half a day leafing through it. |

I finished up my album pages for England and now starting the work for Scotland. The first step is to group issues by year of issue and deciding what minor variety spaces I want to include. |

Sorted through Middle East stamps today to see what I can add to the Scott International. After all my sorting, went back to Part 1 to see what I could add to the classics. Always interesting to see the choices Scott made on what to include and what not to... I had a series of classic Andorra stamps that Scott provided space for all but 2.

I sorted some more of the covers I got in an estate sale. The estate was from what looks like someone who was a treasurer or a similar position with a missionary. They saved a lot of incoming envelopes....Mostly 1960s. I've started by sorting by the alphabetic groups in Scott catalog and will separate by country next. |
