Hi all
Today, I soaked many first issue revenues off partial documents, lots of them that I've had for years.
Great fun.

My album page adding/revising for my Mystic Heirloom is winding down. I just have a few groups like Liberty and Great American) left. There a few minor updates (usually a minor variety) to add. My binder of stamps "to be mounted" is almost empty. I finished the Transportation coils yesterday.
My next big tasks is to sort all my spares and try to sell them on the approval section. |

Started to put an accumulation of German stamps into my classic album. Found a nice used copy of SC 31a in the pile so that was kind of cool. |

I'm in the process of plotting out Vario pages for French colonies. I had been placing them in stockbooks or Vario sheets in a somewhat haphazard fashion, which made it difficult to see at a glance exactly what I have and what I'm still missing. I want to collect this area more in depth, and getting pages organized was a must. This will be an ongoing project for awhile, but I hope to have the entire French area plotted out (at least those areas I'm likely to acquire) within a couple months or so. |

1) Added 127 Bureau Precancels to my home brewed album pages, 2) Reorganized my supplies/tools. 3) Wandered back in my workshop and made a stand for my cheap (ah, cost effective) digital microscope out of an old desk lamp. 4) Now I just need to clean and straighten up my home office and today's to-do list will be done. Hi all
About 10 years ago, I went to a stamp show in Southern California. Arrived near the end of the show. Saw a dealer packing up and ask the dealer if he had any First Issue Revenue Stamps, he stated he dealt only in foreign stamps. But he said he happened to have a binder with about 25 documents with the first issue revenues. So I bought the entire binder, got it really cheap. Later found out the 25 documents were actually almost 50 documents. My point is today, dedicated to start researching these document, expect this will take my a few months to complete, but what the heck, an interesting start today.
Already found a few documents used and dated during the first period, 1 Oct thru 24 Dec 1862.
Looks like I have some great fun ahead of myself.

Today I spent hours reading and posting on the forum. I've been away from stamps for so long, that I need to catch up. |

Canada's on the table, establishing a new set-up on Vario pages. I am currently around 1995 and am enjoying a lot of beautiful mint stamps, strips and souvenir sheets that were all sent to me from New Brunswick. Thanks Renden - best give-away ever |

Hi, Started building a new book case today. Lately I realized how many binders of stamps I had accumulated in the living room, sort of a messy mess. So going to build a book case and put them behind where I set, more organized and can just get the binder I'm looking for. Guess I'd better label the binders now.
