spent some time sorting more GB security Machins. Have a friend in the UK who sends them to me from the mail they get in their office. What I find quite interesting is even in the recent parcel they sent me there were no 2017 issues. All 2014 / 2015 / 2016. Anyone collect these. I'd be interested to share more information and perhaps when I work out how to, to show some images, especially of phosphors I have been studying. Michael

Catching up on new issues and taking photographs of wall paintings/murals to prepare postcards for upcoming Che Guevara (50th anniversary) issue. Not totally satisfied with how it is going and the fall back position is buying twenty commercial Che Guevara postcards.

Some attractive ones here, if you decide to go for the latter option:

I have a couple of these on my "study" wall, and used the cigar-smoking one as my screensaver at work for a long time.

from Blaamand:
[quote][/Canada's on the table, establishing a new set-up on Vario pages. I am currently around 1995 and am enjoying a lot of beautiful mint stamps, strips and souvenir sheets that were all sent to me from New Brunswick. Thanks Renden - best give-away ever quote]

You are welcome, Blaamand and happy you have some time to work on Canada

Geoff, I have also gone with som iconic images.
The problem with the mural/wall painting is that it is in a cul-de-sac and mostly there are cars in front of the wall. In the past three months and about five attempts, I have only got two clear shots.

Setup my duplicate Australian Roo and KGV stockbooks. Quite the struggle to cross-reference the Scott and ACSC numbers in some cases. I didn't attempt to sort by sub-color varieties yet. Here is one page of the KGV.

I took some tagging pics.

This was a study showing how exposure can affect the look. Since you cannot photograph tagged pictures under SW like normal pics (the exposure would be off), you would need to underexpose it significantly (like 2 to 3 f-stops) to get it to look closer to what you would normally see. There was minimal processing (other than the camera generating the image on its default settings) other than changing the exposure in software.

Have been working on stripping out and sorting Mexico and Iceland collections. Also working on identifying positions for a load of 3 cent washingtons as well as 70 and 78 shades. Finally, identifying over 500 large banknotes. Phew!!

Still slogging thru my Stamp Mate listings for Benin to correlate Scott Michel and Yvert number and add items to the databse missing from Col-nect. If anyone wants a challenge, try working out the catalog listing correlations between Scott and Michel and Yvert for the multitudes of provisional surcharges and overprints Benin has had in the 80s thru early 2010s.

Partime - that's a well organized and tempting presentation of your Aussie dups, sharp!

DJCMHOH - guess you're still struggling on that Benin cross-reference

I'm stuck between jobs for 8 days on the beach in Brazil. Can you imagine any better way of spending that time than good-old stampy time?

So I'm transfering Austria to new set-up on Vario pages, pure joy.

Thank you Dan. After years of trial and error I have settled on those black tags. Some are concerned that ink might transfer to the stamps over time - maybe if exposed to high humidity - but I live in a cold place so honestly I'm quite relaxed myself.
