I have been working on updating a couple of websites that I am webmaster for. Also, cataloguing some recent purchases and reading the latest ATA handbook.
All the best, |

I am mounting some recent Finland before tackling the classic period ones. Also started inventory along with sorting Vatican stamps on the side. |

Yesterday, I went to a collectors gathering. We had a good time with some friends and got some very nice cinderellas for a token price. What else, can you ask? |

Sorted through a collection of unmounted loose U.S. plate blocks and sheets from the 1960s to 1980s. There were a few from the 20s, 40s, and 50s as well as some airmails. A good friend had a suitcase full of them that had belonged to his father. When he learned I was a collector he just gave them to me. Nothing particularly rare or valuable, but probably several hundred dollars face. |

I spent some time adding entries in the database into StampManage for Malaya/Malayasia. The coverage is not as strong as other areas. |

I pulled ~300 glassines out of my box, put them in rubber bands, and set them aside. I know it sounds lame but the box was getting pretty stuffed with the stamps and backing slips and all. |

Ordered Lindner pages for early Russia, through 1923. Sorted and identified what I have in the meantime until that arrives. Also sorted my classic France, dupes upon dupes of the Empire 20c. blue... II |

Order of Palo pages arrived, primarily French African colonies. Going to be a pleasant few days of moving stamps from the old Scott albums into those. |

Working on some stockbooks of Berlin and figuring my bid limits for a couple of upcoming auctions. Looking towards Fall/Winter and some great projects to work on. |

I spent a pleasant hour going through Coles and Walker's book "Postal cancellations of the Ottoman Empire", sorting out some unidentified cancels. It turns out that they are from Greece (Parga). |

I have been working on removing stamps from an old album that once belonged to my sister's father-in-law. Nothing too exciting, but the album was falling apart and I didn't want to lose the stamps. |

I soaked a lot of stamps today. I love soaking stamps. I do not care about duplicates or this or that country, just keep soaking!!! |
