Just finished going thru my scotts catalog. A previous owner would stick stamps in between pages near the spine. Got the ones I missed before. Still need to go thru 1 binder and 2 smaller books ad get the stamps from them. Then that point I will be ready to start inserting them into the vizeo.

Today I made Steiner-esque Pages for my French Sower stamps, using the Maury catalog as a guide. So, whereas Steiner has 2 pages to cover the Sower issues, I now have 5, which includes all the listed types for the various values.

Starting the project of sorting out my German collection - between Lighthouse albums recently won in an auction, some partially filled old Scott specialty albums, stuffed Scott WW classic collection and a box of glassines that haven't been looked at in 40 years got some fun work ahead! Expect it will take me through the fall at least.

went through a World Wide box lot I won and added a grand total of 5 Machins to my Machin collection out of what seemed like close to 1000 of them. Will be going through this lot for a long time.

I started mounting some Malta stamps. I liked these as they were a little more imaginative in the 60's than some commonwealth countries. I see bold colors, metal foil, etc.

Received confirmation from J Macias Philatelist in Lisbon that my wire transfer was received. Some nice stuff from Angola, Inhambane, Macau, and Timor is now on the way. Later today, will read the September American Philatelist.

I just finished printing the Machins intermediate album pages. Any tips for the best binder to put them in at a good price?

In the process of removing stamps from an old thinner stamp book from like the 1940s. After this one I have another stamp book of like 100 sheets. Have, one that's 300 and 500 (estimemated) to also go thru before I can start mounting.

Robert, here you go. Although I have all 5 pages printed, this is the first, and only one so far, that I have stamps mounted to. This is the first page for the lined Sower issues. They are very simple, as I like them. No cat numbers and bare bones descriptions. I toyed with the idea of inserting small graphics showing the types, but there are so many the page would have quickly gotten crowded beyond my comfort level. I use AlbumEasy to make my pages, based on Steiner's layout.

I may make a master page, at some time, showing all the types.
Also, I'm finding these Sower issues are quite the challenge. It took me most of the day to sort out and identify the ones just on this page, and I'm hoping I got them right.
