Peck's paste sounds like what we called potted meat. A mystery (actually just what is left over from an animal that is not sold as something else) meat spread.
I definitely plan to limit my interest in Machins - not getting into self-adhesives and security. My interest been tagging. Scott's coverage (therefore Steiner) could have gone a little deeper. |

Been working on getting my Malay States albums organized from the collections I inherited from my father. I house my stamp collections on Vario pages and make these pages to act as locator keys to identify what goes where on the Vario pages. This is the first page for Kedah And here is how the keys look when integrated into an album (this is for a page of Johore) Pages made with AlbumEasy |

I picked up the remaining USA minisheets to complete my MYSTIC 2019 year. Some I got at the post office; others on ebay. That's it. I am officially all done collecting USA minisheets. ...Unless something really special comes along. Jack Kelley |

Over the past few days, I've added a lot of stamps and about 20 new station/town name pages to my collection of Belgium Parcel Post and Railway Cancels collection. The new towns have interesting names like Stavelot, Oisquerco, Virginal, Neuville-Nord, Thourout, Buysinghen, Vitron-St. Mard, Eecloo, Calmpthout, Lichtervelde, Halchteren, Houthem and my personal new favorite, Wespelaar Tildonk. It is hard to believe that such a small country had so many Rail Stations and Parcel Post locations. I have been at this for years and many pages have only one stamp, while my 'most common' pages have 6-9 different issues with the same cancel name. Not likely to run out of fun soon.

On Tuesday the seventh I went to the Yorkshire stamp auctions sale at Scarborough (England). The individual stamps I was interested in didn't interest me after I'd looked at them. the kilo ware boxes were no good for me although they were straight from the charity. I didn;t make any successful bids on glory boxes that interested me, I got the China 2,000 Year book for £23.00 inc buyers premium for a friend. I decided to bid on a stock book of GB regionals pre 2000, and a collection of about 400 GB first day covers I got the regionals for £11.50 and the FDCs for £39.95. The regionals fill a lot of gaps in my collection and might also sell well in the regional clubs auction, added to which I now have a beautiful high quality lighthouse stck book. The FDCs well I hope I can sell at least half for 20p or more per item. I got a few fdc machins for my Machin reference collection. You win some you lose som,e I got a superb meal of fish and chips so on the whole the day was a success. |

Yesterday... - Received some ebay purchases - three dealer boxes full of 102 cards, two boxes worldwide and one all USSR. Started to organize. - Packaged and prepped for shipment Lighthouse Canada hingeless stamp album pages, won in a box auction from Weeda last month. Bought the lot for $110, sold the album pages for $110, kept the rest! - Purchased, for my first time, access to Steiner's album pages. Decided to start with German Democratic Republic as I (oddly, it seems) really like some of their CTO stamps and have a lot of them sitting around needing a home. I'm about halfway through printing, hole punching, and getting the pages organized in binders (and the binders labeled), hope to finish this tonight. Noocassel, do you sell your FDCs through ebay? |

Today I started to place some of my US stamps mounted in an album - only a few. I also bought my first Scott Catalogue last night so that I can place more in my Album.
I bought a small collection of small Hermes heads as well as some early stamps from Spain |

Finished up album key pages for Kelantan tonight (the joy of working overnight shifts, your days off are overnights as well). Have the coming night off as well so hope to knock out a good chunk of Malacca. Three Malay States down, 11 to go! |

Printed off the remaining Adminware Novice album updates for 2019. So now I'm all caught up for now. Its a real pain if you let it go too long.

Coincidental AM, not funny My stock pages are bulging, I have to scan every stamp, that is to be mounted, it's scary....... However once done, its nice to have the pages. I will have heaps of duplicates India, if you want them, email me a suitable address............ (Caveat I do not send free stamps to those whom "bin" "burn" or "trash" stamps....) |
