Hi guys..Take look at the stamp on the right (ya,i know terrible stamp)..Could this be explained by a engraver slip..?

Think you had the other 2 Canadian stamps with the same issue at the top. It would almost seem like the center ovals are entered as a second process.

According to Marler the quantity issued on this stamp was 2,160,000,000 from 52 200 subject plates and 34 400 subject plates. In the perforated stamps Marler lists 20 different types some of which occurred simultaneously on various plates. I believe you are looking at two different types in your images.
