Hi guys..Take a look at this FB27 bill stamp...At 9:00 o'clock just outside the Queen's portrait is what looks like a guide dot or a plate flaw..What do you think..?

Do to it's placement, I suspect it is a guide dot, similar the the 3-o'clock/9-o'clock dots on the later printings of the Small Queens.

Could very well be a inner guide dot as you suggest, wish I had another to compare.

Hi Robert,

Definitely looks like a guide dot to me. I believe most copies of this stamp have a dot at or near the location shown on your stamp.

Try an ebay search. You should be able to see several copies there.
