Hi, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I would really appreciate any help regarding some stamps that have been in my family for over 60 years. I have several books of full sheets of Spanish and Spanish Colonial stamps from the 1950's and 1940's. They are in pristine condition.

My question is whether full sheets of collectible stamps are equitably as valuable as an individual stamp? For example, if a single stamp sells for $5.00 what would a full sheet of 100 of the same stamp be worth? Logically $500.00 would make sense but I imagine that is far from the case. How can one determine a fair value for full sheets? I realize that catalog prices tend to be higher than what a stamp will typically sell for and are really just a guide but is there a good rule of thumb for determining value of full sheets based off the value of an individual stamp?

I understand there are multiple factors involved in determining stamp values that can't be explained in a simple forum post but any information is greatly appreciated.

Picture included is just a sample of the 100's of sheets I have.

RCORB 3101 ---Welcome to this chat board . If you have complete sets in sheets you will get a better price . If they are the lower values and no high value ,they your going to get a lot less .
First full sheets are not worth more from the 1950's and 1960's for a sheet as to each stamp [GENERALY SPEAKING] . Your going to be better off selling them as sheets and who ever buys them is going to give you wholesale value .

You might want to search for a dealer who specializes in Spanish Colonies. Most of the 1950s and 1960s issues are inexpensive but there could be some better items and maybe there are collectors who pursue these in sheets (or at least the marginal markings). The Ifni stamps you show are slightly better - the 1p stamp catalogs a few dollars apiece and if you have the 5p stamp those catalog $29 in my 2008 Scott.
