Hi, I do not collect Russian stamps. But I have come upon an enormous hoard (1500-2000 sheets) of USSR (CCCP) stamp sheets from the 1960s-80s.
I don't see that they have much value, so I figured I would donate them for tax purposes. However, I cannot find a good catalog to help me with this. I just want to see the CV value of an individual stamp. I doubt the sheet carries much of a premium...so I will just multiply the CV of the individual stamps.
Any direction would be really appreciated, especially if you can direct me to some eFormatted catalog I can buy or see. I only need to know about 50 different stamps.
I can't ballpark these figures because I need to include the estimate with the tax form.
Your best bet for an online source would be the website of some stamp dealer with a comprehensive listing of USSR stamps. Which you might be able to track down using Google. Off-line, you might try your local library. Many still carry the Scott catalog.
