Hi All,
June 15th 1815 Battle of Waterloo - commemorative stamps will be issued by Royal Mail We don't have those stamps yet, but we have a letter written at the time when the loser –Napoleon - was brought to Britain and held as a prisoner on the ship the Bellerophon. This letter is on our website

-/letters/Previc/napoleon.html

This is a fascinating and long letter written by someone who was there and took the trouble to include a drawing in his letter of Napoleon. We bought the letter years ago for the postmark, which was PLYMOUTH DOCK

We have also added a new segment called Jubilee to Jubilee, which shows a range of stamps and other postal items from Great Britain issued from the 1887 Jubilee issue of Queen Victoria to the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
We have put in some unusual items, which may be of interest, particularly those of the 1977 Silver Jubilee. Here is the link

Hope you find something of interest.

15th of June is also the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta by King John at Runnymede.

Hi Horamakhet
Yes, and of course G.B is commemorating the event.
Norvic has the stamps illustrated on his site at

How do you feel about these stamps - inspired or not?
Cheers
