I know they are new and have gone through the washer and dryer of the web. I have slowly closed my store on the FEE-Bay and slowly moved over to hipstamps--I am noticing that if you don't ship overseas-like myself, sales seem slow---anybody?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I am unable to find anything on Hipstamp that fits my collecting interests. And I am an active buyer on both ebay and Delcampe. |

And very few items appear to be biddable. Almost all listings are "buy it now" without a "best offer" option.
Also, no mention of any return time extensions for certification submissions.

Nowhere near the traffic as on ebay. The few times I have tried listing there, when it was stampwants, no action. Same items on ebay, I have a high rate of sales per listing. It's a terrific idea to have a sales website, aimed at strictly stamps, but it's hard to get the traction. A fee based system insures that sellers price items to move. Of course ebay has back slid from that concept over the years too. Too many free listings result in overpriced items clogging up the search fields. You've got to "Pay to Play" Isn't that the Clinton's spin. |

I purchase a lot from HipStamps primarily because the shipping charges are reasonable unlike some listings on ebay where the shipping charges to Canada easily is over $10 even for one stamp. I hate Delcampe's new interface...requires too many 'clicking' or tapping...also a lot of dealers are not clear on their shipping charges and add a premium if you are using PayPal. |

I still think they need some format changes and a MUCH BETTER search engine. |

I may be missing it, but I cannot find any way to save a search, which means hipstamp is pretty useless, to me. Their help section is nothing. |

Hipstamps is a shadow of what Bidstart/stampwants used to be IMO, and even that paled in comparison to ebay. Since Hipstamps replaced Bidstart, I have not found a single item of any use whatsoever. |

I have found Hipstamps to be as valuable to me as any. The one thing that turns me off is a $1.25 stamp that the shipping charges are $3.50. That is just ridiculous, but of course this is not Hipstart's fault.

I purchased stamps on bidStart almost weekly for years but have never purchased anything from the hipStart site. I DO NOT like the format at all! |
