Best Method To Separate Self-Adhesive Stamps

For self-adhesives that are not die cut through the liner (some sheets most booklets), what is the safest method to separate them?

I usually fold along the die cut to separate the stamps and bend back and forth multiple times to get a good fold (weaken the backing) and then use a knife cut the liner while they are folded. Once and a while I get a snag where the backing is removed from one side of the fold.

Any other methods to insure a clean cut?

I do the same as you. It usually works out Ok.

I bought a very sharp knife for this purpose.

Works well for me also but I use a razor blade which is held in a handle.

Sometimes I use my Showgard cutter.
