These just arrived. Scott 164, 165, ACSC 176zf, 177za. I didn't spot any varieties.

Partime's block of the 9d purple NSW 150th Anniversary is one of my favourites. Beautifully engraved and impressive colour.

It also comes with a flaw/variation: the Roller Flaw (ACSC 177d - amongst others); Roller Shift to right top frame over "AU" and "88". Stamp L10/2 below:

(Edited one time).

Thanks Cjd. It's a nice variation.

Here's another of my John Ash blocks. Also a favourite of mine, and not too difficult to acquire.

Centenary of Western Australia, 1929. Issued 28 September, 1929.

Unwatermarked. Perforation 11, single line.

And there's a couple of variations to this stamp. one of which is outlined on the re-entry thread:

Here's another of my favourites.

Centenary of the death of Captain John Macarthur, 1934; 9d purple, Perforation 11.5 comb.

This block shows the broken left leg of the "H" in Ash.

A couple of imprint blocks to add to this thread turned up in a recent lot that I have been sorting through. One question. The perforations in the Anzac Block shown in the original post are different in their arrangement from the perforations shown in my post. Those, like the other examples, extend down through the margin and the imprint. In my example, they do not. Is this a common variant in these blocks?

John (64idgaf)
"The ˝d value saw just one setting with no dot"
I'm trying to understand what this means and where the"no dot" is missing.
Can you help with further explanation and pics?
Sorry to be a pain- but just can't understand
Thanks
Paul

Paul. You appear to be asking 64idgaf about a posting from 2018 (5 years ago). Here is the pertinent section from ACSC:

There were Upper and Lower plates separated by a gutter.
Those blocks with the perforations through the gutter come from the Upper plate.
The ones without a perforated gutter come from the Lower plate.

Backroads,

It pains me to say I used the term "Plates". That's incorrect. They were Upper and Lower Panes.
