I can only speak for Toronto. It looks like they chose the locations based on sales. These three locations are definitely high Sales areas for the Post Office.
1. Toronto Dominion Post office, 77 King Street West 2. Shopper's Drug Mart, 465 Yonge 3. Another location at 279 Yonge
1. This is in the heart of the Business District and is surrounded by skyscrapers, Stock Exchange, Big Business and Banks. Likely lineups at this kiosk! 2. This is at Yonge and College, the northern edge of the Shopping Area, close to Maple Leaf Gardens, TD Bank, University of Toronto and major Hospitals. 3. This is at Yonge and Dundas, near Eaton's Center at the heart of the Shopping District. |

Actually the 710 Granville Street Kiosk is only a couple of blocks from the current West Georgia Kiosk.
It is in London Drugs, which was where the first short-lived Computer Vended stamps were tested in 2012-13. |

The fall 2016 ones are - separate listings for Vancouver, Edmonton, and Richmond Hill versions; Numbered CP19 through CP38, 14 digit as sub #i and 18 digit with partial "11" as sub #ii. Page 599. Forgot to mention that the set for collectors from the National Philatelic Centre is also included. |

I just phoned the Pharmaprix in Montreal and they said the kiosk machines were there now. I will be going in to gather some up soon. Would anyone like me to get them a strip or a set? (at cost, of course) You can email me. |

I visited the Pharmaprix n Montreal on Friday a week ago. The location was suposed to open on 7 nov, but had machine problems and the official opening date for the Montreal kiosk was Thursday 9 November. There is a single kiosk there and the stamps are the same as other locations except for the office code. The Pharmaprix is located just east of the Berri metro station along St Catherine. The post office is right at the back corner of the store. The setup of the kiosk and postal employees work space reminds me of the way the Vancouver one is setup (but a much smaller scale). I can post a picture of a strip later today. |

Hello I am new to this forum and noticed that the last post on kiosk stamps is a few months ago. I wonder if anyone has any new information. In addition to the original 3 kiosks, kiosk 105929 opened in Toronto Nov 7, 2017 and 106038 opened in Montreal Nov 9, 2017. There is now two more in Vancouver: 105856 at the Bentall Centre and 105937 at the London Drug Store. Does anyone know the date these first dispensed stamps? Have any other ones opened? |
