Dug these out of my files to mount after purchasing them a while back for a few bucks. Sold as O45 but they look like O45a given the position of the "G". Would that be correct?
Similar question for the one below - sold as O39; is it O39a instead?
According to Unitrade Canada Specialised catalogue the "#a" is the flying "G". In the the flying G from about the bottom centre to the vertical up on the right, the line is very thin, more angular and does not have the usual roundness. Illustrations are from Unitrade catalogue.
Thanks for your help. So it's the shape of the G, not the placement on the stamp which is determinative. The above stamps were therefore indeed be O45 and O39, respectively?
