Scanned below is a cancel, I cannot figure out the town. Does anyone know it? At first glance, I thought it was "CHRISTMAS HI" but I think not.

Christmas Hills owes its name to an emancipated convict and shepherd, David Christmas, who became lost on a 640-acre (2.6 km2) grazing lease in the area in 1842, and was found after days of wandering at a rise which was subsequently named after him. The area was considered to have poor quality soil, although nearby settlers earned an income from chopping firewood in the sclerophyll forests.

mature, respectful, and elegant name CHINKAPOOK. (First Nations name, meaning "Place of red earth")

Chinkapook is a locality in Victoria, Australia, located approximately 67 km from Swan Hill, Victoria. It is on the Robinvale railway line, 70 km south of the terminus at Robinvale.

The Post Office opened on 12 September 1910 as Christmas Tank, was renamed Chinkapook in 1914 and closed in 1974

One of the big issues I had to deal with in the early 90's was with Kola groups after working with these groups doing massive revegetation plantings in wildlife corridors in suburban areas that were once Kola habitats.

The big issue was bring Kolas back into populated areas with cars, dogs etc being the issue we had to resolve. It was not an easy issue to deal with because of the very strong emotions involved. The end result was we all had to admit we got it very wrong and a refocus was introduced to replant bushland areas to help support per acre Kola populations.
