I can't find these in Scott catalog. I think first 2 are Italian?
not sure third.

Scott numbers and approx value much appreciated. Thanks ahead of time. I collect US stuff so not my area of expertise

The second one looks like it might be a stamp from the Papal States.

awesome info. Thanks

these were in an envelope with "$$$" signs on it in a relatives old collection, but no identification. I appreciate the help.

I found them in Scott catalog now that you guided me to right spot. I cannot tell if that inverted surcharge is on forgery "lilac rose" or real "rose". I will have to find a color gauge.

I just read the catalogue.

I just learned where the country of Ceylon was located: "an island in the Indian ocean separated from India by the Gulf of Manaar"

Now known as Sri Lanka!! We all try to learn new things everyday. Maybe I'll hit the jackpot on Jeopardy TV show with this one!
