was wondering how I go about crossing the numbers in this album over to the scott #'s. its copyrighted 1934 by john nicklin.

The was a thread on John W. Nicklin on this site in 2013, here.

He apparently was a Scott catalogue editor. In the discussion, an album like yours is mentioned.

Scott changed their catalogue in 1940 to today's format, so a pre 40's catalogue might be very similar. I've seen Scott Specialized catalogues 1929-39 on ebay fairly often for under $10

renden, this book is already full of stamps that have been numbered and identified. to eliminate the whole process of trying to re identify the whole book. I was hoping that there was a way to cross reference them.

You don't have to identify them by Scott number. You can use the heading, ie, "POSTAGE, 1895 Watermark 191" is going to be comparable from one album to another.
