Dear colleagues, I need your help in identifying some stamps: Pic 1 - I think it is Timisoara (Serbian and Romanian occupation 1919), but I can't find anything regarding this overprint ; Pic 2 - Revenue stamp from French Indochina, but I can't find the year ; Pic 3 - ??? ; Pic 4 - it looks like a vignette from UK, but I can't find it anywhere.

Sobo: welcome to the Forum. Pic 3 appears to be a charity stamp of some sort; note the red cross on it. "Weihnachten" is German for Christmas.

Pic 4 appears to be a cut square from a postal stationary envelope.

Picture #3 appears to be a fund raising seal (Christmas seal), or sticker in the fight against tuberculosis. The red cross symbol is used by "anti tuberculosis" organizations. The inscription reads "Christmas" (German) and the postmark looks like it includes the word "Salzburger", so the item could very well be Austrian.

Sobo,

On your first one from Hungary try Scott 2N23 - it does not show the overprint in a photo but lists it as "new value added" and states 35f on 3f. You noted you could not find the overprint mentioned and that is all I could find as well. I was looking for the matching picture of the overprint and that limited my search and this may have been your issue as well.

Hope that helps.

I'd like more information on the GB mutilated stationery.

I am sure I have cards from a Philatelic agency with these octagonals.
Seen them on valid souvenir sheets.
Cannot find my info in my database, so I am curious if any GB experts can offer advice.

Thank you all for the help. The problem with the first pic is that the overprint is not completed - it misses the Romanian occupation stamp. It can be an error or it can be a fake overprint on some good stamps of the period. Since I am Romanian I know a lot of things when it comes to Romanian stamps. Feel free to ask me anything when it comes to stamps from East Europe. :)The vignette from UK will still be under research.

For the record, here is the Souvenir Sheet? and mutilated stationery pieces,
the commentary on these, I have lost, dashed if I can find the text.

My examples, if memory serves, were with a Postal Service cards for new issues stamps, from Edinburgh Scotland.

Neither of these images are mine.

Could it be, a phantasy production? The base stamp is common.

I looked at Temesvar, and the typeset differs, the cross of the "f" meets the "i" on one, and not the other.
I could not find an "Harvester" with 35 filler opt.

The GB octagonals and other shapes were produced on envelopes, cards, registration envelopes and other items. Some were also stamped to order and some customized. Embossed or typography ones were printed and some would have phosphor bands depending on usage and postal class.
Old stock or seldom used denominations were given a printed "EXTRA" to bring the amount up to the current rate.

The Yvert&Tellier classic catalog illustrates the "35 filler" overprint (Debreczen 14) and it appears to match your overprint and description so I believe Hobsun013 has got it right.

The first stamp is not Hungary Scott 2N23 as that stamp also has the elliptical ZONA DE OCUPATIE ROMANA overprint.

Sobo / Nigel,

As follow-up, agreed that the first strip is not 2N23 as it lacks both overprints as seen in the photo below for reference. Scott does state "additional overprint" indicating both are need for 2N23. As Sobo noted, could be error or potentially a fake overprint. Maybe someone else has better info.
