I was working on some of the stamp I have from the philoppines. Most are pre 1950 I would say. I noticed. Like 4 or 5 different kind of cancellation marks on the stamps them selfs. Any ideas as to why so many different ones? Thanks.

Ireland, your question is unclear. Are you talking about a cancel or an overprint? Can you post a scan?

I will get some tomarrow in the morning. I noticed that there were multiple different kinds of cancellation marks on then. Some were dates like what you see here, some were just lines and some were numbers kind of things.

The nine stamps you show are all used, and show only part of the cancel, most likely from nine different locations, answering "why so many".
In the pic below are four stamps I cropped from your pic. The first two are overprinted, the first one is a bicentennial and also devalues the stamps, as does the second stamp. The other two are hand stamped O B (Official Business)in blue.
Overprints like the second are usually because of rate changes, and the post office not having that denomination.
