The stamp Michel#810 - block No 9 which represents a peonie, was it issued with or without gum?
Because in the catalogue Michel, it is written o.G. which means "ohne Gummi" - no gum.
I saw an auction where the seller wrote MNH original gum ?????
thank you

The Scott No. of that stamp is 1617.
Scott doesn't indicate something about the gum of the stamps.

Michel 810 is Sc.782 NOT Sc.1617, & Scott does note that it is without gum

1964 5 Aug Mi.810, Sc.782

1980 4 Aug, Sc.1617, Mi.1628 Block 23

Different cataloges have different information on Scott 782 or Mi 810. The official catalogue published in China also had different opinions depending on the publishing year. But even it has gum, it is very thin and barely noticeable. You rarely see this Stamp gets toned, which was very common for the gummed PRC stamps issued during that period.

Some expert believes that some "gum-like" material was applied to the back of this stamp but it is not the real gum and is not sticky. It makes the back of the stamp to look a little shiny and bright.
