Right now I use Steiner pages for all my stamps, and I have been pretty happy with the format and the coverage, until I get to the modern area. The area I am currently struggling with right now is modern Japan. Nearly all the stamps seem to be issued in mini sheets of 10. The Steiner pages all expect you to have the complete sheet. If you are a collector of postally used stamps as I am, then that is an unsatisfying layout. People don't put mini sheets on first class letters, they take a stamp off the sheet and use it. The only used mini sheets or more likely to be philatelic creations than anything else.

What I am looking for is a set of album pages that will lay out the stamps individually. Does anyone know if such a set exists?

What I do, is print a steiner blank page with the country name..and draw by hand boxes to accommodate the individual stamp. Everybody expects you to collect mint stamps...

Go a little further and copy the stamps and then mount them. You could use information that might be unique to you.

How about SoftPro's AlbumGen? You can design your own pages - descriptions and all - and then print them out on Steiner bland pages.
