Hi guys...I was going through my mint and used map stamps and came across this one that had an extra line beside the normal line in the middle of the stamp..I checked all my 24 of my copies and this was the only one with this oddity.

Ralph from re-entries.com is still dealing with family matters, so I dont want to bug him right now..I have sent this to Orville at BNAPS for his opinion...Any thoughts..???

Robert

Wert, can you take a higher resolution or less compressed scan or screen shot with your microscope? I am having hard time to see the line.

Ok I see what you mean, It is look like a re-entry (as the major re-entry have this kind of line doubling all across the stamp)

From the scan you post, nothing else seems to have trace of re-entry, so a possible minor re-entry I agree.

This looks suspiciously close to the guide lines that we discussed in this earlier thread. Here is a direct link to a response from Wert:

I don't think it is a re-entry.
