something does not look or feel right about this stamp. the paper is of extremely hard/thick paper that snaps with finger. plus the inking. your guidance and thoughts please

Very dry print. The paper was not moist enough to take the ink properly when this was printed.

Thank you rev collector. I appreciate the help....I have seen this before but never on a very thick hard paper. Yet another lesson learned....

There are a couple spots in your scan where it looks like you may have 2 stamps stuck to each other. That would explain the thickness
