I got this cover recently and it is something I have not seen before. I assume that it is not that common but must have been common enough for a special handstamp to be prepared.

I thought it ws interesting and wondered if this type of handstamp used elsewhere ?

Are you thinking this one guy at the Toronto Post Office is a stamp collector and hd this stamp made up?

I know I am becomming more cynical with age but I had not thought of that. However as the letter is from a bank and to a bank I thing it is genuine.
