Inhambane ( In-yem-ban-e )
Mozambique

Former Portuguese Colony.

My total collection, they arrive in dribs and drabs.
Stamp in bistre = Thematic (Elephants on stamps)

Fiercely contested at auction, of any sizeable collection.

After Portugal became a republic, the Mozambique Company stamps that were overprinted REPUBLICA were the stamps showing the Company's Coat of Arms design, which includes 2 elephants supporting the shield.

Thank you 22crows,
Lovely collection, clear mounts are nice, looks like a digitally produced album.
